Who am I: My name is Alex, and I am a baker. Baking is not only my passion – its my life.

My Background: I have Masters degree in Bakery Science and Technology, and I spent last 10 years working with industry leading companies to develop best possible products for our customers. On top of that, I am super passionate about baking. I just love working on recipes, improving and tweaking them, until I reach perfect taste and texture. I also love sharing my work, and after feeding my family, friends and neighbours with my home baking, and countless asks – how did you make this?? – I decided to create this website and share my knowledge with the world.

Why this Blog and why now: In 2020 the world how we know it has changed. We suddenly don’t have the opportunity to enjoy delicious goods from local bakery on our way from work, or visit restaurants for a great dessert every Saturday. As we are adjusting to new reality around us, and find new sense of balance, I cant think of anything more satisfying and personally rewarding than home baking. And who said that you cant have restaurant quality bread or dessert made at home? Or, if you already family bakery or a restaurant – why not add some zest into your menu? I am extremely excited to share all my knowledge and expertise with all of you, as I promise, all recipes that you find on my website – were carefully selected, tested, tasted and are absolutely delicious! I will open the world for you, where simple and familiar recipe can get brand new dimensions and taste like never before.
